Adding Multiple Merchant IDs to the Agent Capture Assist Form

Agent Capture Assist enables businesses to process payments for multiple Merchant IDs under the same payment gateway. This functionality provides flexibility for businesses managing payments across different accounts.

Steps to Set Up Multiple Merchant IDs

  1. Access Payment Gateway Setup:

    • Log into your Paytia Admin Console.
    • Navigate to the Manage Payments section and click Payment Gateway Setup.

  2. Add a New Payment Gateway Entry:

    • Click Configure New Payment Gateway.
    • In the configuration form:
      • Payment Gateway: Select your existing gateway (e.g., Opayo, SagePay).
      • Nickname: Enter a user-friendly name for this Merchant ID (e.g., "Admin" or "Retail").
      • Click Continue to save the entry.
  3. Verify Setup:

    • After saving, the new Merchant ID entry will appear in the list under Payment Gateway Setup.
    • You can edit or remove entries as needed using the Edit Gateway or Remove options.
  4. Using Multiple Merchant IDs in Agent Capture Assist:

    • When taking a payment via the virtual terminal, the added Merchant IDs will appear as a dropdown list.
    • Agents can select the appropriate Merchant ID based on the nickname before processing the payment.
