Configuring Default Call Presentation

The Default Call Presentation settings allow you to manage how your secure payment number is used for incoming and outgoing calls. This ensures that calls are routed correctly, with the appropriate caller ID shown to customers and staff. Below is a guide to navigating and configuring these settings.


Editing Your Call Presentation

  1. Accessing the Settings:

    • Navigate to Configure Telephony on the left-hand menu.
    • Select Default Call Presentation.




  2. Adjusting Call Presentation Settings:

    • Incoming Calls:

      • Configure the number that will display on your phone when a customer calls. Options include:
        • Caller's Telephone Number – Displays the customer's number.
        • My Paytia Number – Displays your assigned Paytia secure number.

    • Outgoing Calls:

      • Configure the number shown to your customers when you call them. Options include:
        • Caller's Telephone Number – Displays your own number.
        • My Paytia Number – Displays your assigned Paytia secure number.



Payment System Voice Assistance

  • This setting allows you to select the voice and language for system prompts during payment transactions.
    • Language: Choose from available languages, such as English-United Kingdom.
    • Voice Preference: Select Male or Female voice styles for customer interactions.



Whisper Announcement

  • The Whisper Announcement feature alerts users that an incoming call is related to a secure payment by playing a short double beep.
    • To enable this feature:
      • Toggle the Whisper Announcement switch to On.
      • Save your settings by clicking the Save Settings button.



My New Secure Payment Number

  • Your secure payment number is displayed in this section. This is the number your customers will call for secure transactions.


Where We Send Incoming Calls

  • Call Me on This Number:
    • Enter the number where customer calls should be forwarded.
    • Format the number with the correct country code (e.g., +44 for the UK).

The Number from Which You Call Customers

  • Calling from Your Number:
    • Specify the number you will use to call customers for payment-related transactions.
    • Ensure this number is registered within the system for seamless outbound calls.

By configuring these settings, you can ensure all payment-related communications are efficient, professional, and secure.
