If you want to enable payments on multiple customer lines, you can purchase additional Paytia numbers and route them to different destinations in your organization. This article explains how.
Why you may require multiple Paytia numbers
Paytia provides a license on some packages that allow users to purchase more than one Paytia number for their account.
You might be diverting telephone services through Paytia from your business telephone system or have different staff that you require to have their own dedicated telephone number.
How to buy more Paytia numbers
Provided the Buy more numbers license is active on your account you will find the setting to add more numbers in the Paytia merchant portal under the Configure telephony menu, then the Payment-line sub-menu.
On the Payment line page you will see a button allowing you to click to Buy more numbers
When the page loads you will see;
You can now search for available numbers by area code in your operating country. Paytia allows you to buy multiple numbers to add to your account.
Once you are finished click the Click here to continue button
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see your new numbers listed.
How to setup routing for your additional Paytia numbers
Each telephone number can be put on call forward delivery to a telephone number of your choice. This could be a business or mobile telephone number.
Once you have added your additional numbers you can assign it as a Type = Merchant
This will allow you to call forward calls received on your additional number to an external number you wish to receive calls on.
