To use Paytia to take payments you must be logged in.
From here you should see the merchant portal, click the Configure telephony menu on the left-hand side of the page.
At the bottom of the Configure telephony page click on the Manage click 2 pay button. This will show you the Click 2 pay details and settings which you can then optimize to your own preference for your business.
You will see a number of preferences that are connected to the Click 2 pay button that you will share with your consumers as soon as you access the Manage click 2 pay button page. The button's name, font, and colour can all be changed.
Each Click 2 pay link you will distribute to your consumers will have a reference for your company thanks to the Unique ID. This will enable you to determine which website your customer was visiting when they made the call.
You can create the button that will be shown on your website once you have done designing the button of your choosing. To do this, select the Create code option from the column's bottom right menu.
The following activities involve the four buttons:
You must convert the code to HTML after you have it. You can accomplish this most easily by launching the Notes or Notepad application on your computer. Copy and paste the code into the notepad after it has been opened. Click File, then Save As, once the code has been copied into the notepad.
Finally, when the Save As page appears change the Save as type to All Files. Once done you can then create the file name to whatever you wish (The end of file name must end with .html).
In this case, we'll use the website Click2pay.html.
You can share the URL with your customers after saving it.
When your customer receives the Click 2 pay link, they will be able to open it and the page should look similar to this (Depending on your Click 2 pay button preferences).
When the customers browser requests permission to use their microphone, they must click Allow.
Once the call is established, your company's Paytia number will instantly ring, and you may then establish a WebRTC connection with your consumer.
You can now proceed with processing your payments as you normally would during a phone contact with Paytia. Adopting Click 2 pay has benefits such as preventing issues with DTMF tones not reaching your company via the customer's phone carrier, which simplifies payment processing.
