Lloyds Cardnet - Error message - ApprovalCode":"N:-5005:FRAUD-Purchase limit exceeded

If you are sending transaction values greater than £9,999 and see the error message returned

ApprovalCode":"N:-5005:FRAUD-Purchase limit exceeded

Then you need to increase the default accepted processing value in the Lloyds LBOP payment gateway Administration portal.

You can increase the default from £9999, it can't be set to an unlimited amount, however you can set a limit you know won’t be breached i.e., £500,000

See the attached LBOP - Virtual Terminal offline demo.pdf guide. When logged into the Admin portal using your StoreID, head to,
https://www.ipg-online.com/vt/login/cardnet

> Access Admin Section

> Access Set Purchase Amount

> Amend to a level

to change the value.

If you need access to the Lloyds Admin credentials, please contact the merchant helpdesk on

Select menu option 3 and a member of the team can assist you.
